Qualification and Experience

I qualified as an integrative psychotherapist, counsellor, and coach over 10 years ago and have since gained extensive professional experience in counselling and coaching. Alongside this, I bring more than 25 years of experience in education, helping, and voluntary roles. During this time, I have worked across educational settings and with a wide range of organisations and charities.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Integrative Counselling and Coaching
  • BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling with Psychotherapy
  • Higher Education Diploma in Counselling with Psychotherapy

I have worked as a counsellor, coach, and mentor across a range of organisations, charities, educational settings, and in private practice. In these roles, I have provided counselling therapy to individuals ranging from nursery-aged children through to primary and secondary school students, young adults, adults and older.

Alongside this, I have worked with various other professional counselling and mental health organisations and charities in both private practice and school settings, supporting vulnerable children, women and men.

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, Counsellor, and Coach. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor my work to your individual needs, including:

  • Person-Centred Therapy
  • Psychodynamic Therapy
  • Humanistic Therapy
  • Holistic Therapy
  • Existential Therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Behavioural Therapy
  • Rational Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (RCBT)
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
  • Multicultural Therapy

My integrative approach also considers how cultural heritage can influence emotions, thought patterns, and the way you see the world. This includes exploring the impact of race, religion, culture, family values, social inequality, and wider social influences, as well as how these shape your internal dialogue and relationships with yourself and others.
