Realistic Possibility to heal the mind, body & soul

How I Work

As an integrative psychotherapist, counsellor, and coach, I bring together my lived experience, professional work and academic knowledge to tailor therapy to your individual needs. I work collaboratively with you, focusing on building your self-esteem and confidence to support meaningful and lasting change.

I believe that each of us is a unique individual within ourselves. In therapy, I see and respect you as that unique person and tailor my approach to meet your specific needs, no matter what stage of life or situation you are facing at the time.

In therapy, I work collaboratively with you to access your inner resources, strengthen areas of difficulty, and build on your existing strengths. The journey of self-discovery can sometimes feel challenging or painful, especially when look deeper to unravelling the pattern and past experiences that no longer serve us now. Within in the therapeutic space we work tenderly to untangle what has been weighing on your mind as we explore the questions that may have felt out of reach. Within the safe holding space with support we work together to reconnect with your authentic self and face life’s challenges with greater confidence.

During difficult times, it’s common for things to feel overwhelming or overly complicated. By thinking and reflecting together, we can begin to soften, see, hear, and understand the connection between your mind and body more clearly, enabling you to resolve challenges and find your own way forward.

Professional Experience

I have over 25 years of professional experience across education, voluntary work, and family support services. During this time, I have worked collaboratively with a range of professionals both within educational settings and in family homes, supporting family and children with autism, dyslexia, global learning difficulties, emotional or social anxiety that impacted their learning and behaviour.

These experiences led me to pursue a career as a professional Psychotherapist, Counsellor, and Coach. For the past 10 years, I have worked in private practice, education, and various charities, supporting individuals across the lifespan, from children aged 5 to adults aged 77 from across diverse cultural backgrounds.

Therapy Experience

During this time, I have supported individuals in enhancing their lives while they navigated anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, pregnancy and postnatal-related difficulties, fertility treatments, miscarriage, relationship and marriage challenges, separation, family issues, bereavement, suicidal or paranoid thoughts, cultural conflict, and cultural differences within relationships. I have also worked with individuals living with schizophrenia and other mental health conditions that can impact thinking, decision-making, and emotional wellbeing, including feelings of guilt, shame, burnout, everyday pressure and not feeling good enough.
